Carter Signs to Louisiana Christian

On Thursday, senior J’Quan Carter capped off his career at Shaw by signing to play football for Louisiana Christian University next year.

A four-year starter and team captain, J’Quan’s leadership was instrumental in the Eagles' recent success. His tenure includes three district championships, playoff runs into the quarterfinals and semifinals, and key roles on both the State Runner-Up and State Championship teams.

We know his championship experience and leadership will be a major asset at the collegiate level, and we wish him well in the future.

For the signing, J’Quan was joined by his mother Jamie and uncle Jacody, his coaches, teammates, and many of his Shaw brothers.
